Nordic Naturals Proomega - Fish Oil, 650 Mg Epa, 450 Mg Dha, High-Intensity Support For Cardiovascular, Neurological, Eye, Joint, And Immune Health*, Lemon Flavored, 120 Soft Gels

These are absolutely the best fish oil capsules. I have acid reflux and any other brand I have used have given me repeat (burping up fish taste). I get no repeat from these and believe it is because there are not oxidated. If you look at Nordic Naturals website, they state that they only use nitrogen in lieu of oxygen for manufacturing and this prevents oxidation. Whatever they do works because I am able to use this product without consequence. I take 2-3 per day, one with every meal, which is a good amount of fish oil, but my doctor recommended this to help reduce inflammation and increase good fats in my diet. I believe this is the same product as the Ultimate Omega (has same specs), but this formula is sold by doctors. I purchase this or Ultimate Omega, whichever is cheaper. I will note that I got one bottle where all the pills were melted together. I believe this is because they were sitting in the delivery person's car all day or in a hot warehouse since I was home when they delivered it and the box was real hot when they rang the door bell. I do not attribute this to Nordic Naturals and Amazon facilitated an exchange.

I have always taken an Omega-3 but switched to Nordic Naturals ProOmega because of the amount of Omega-3 it has. Although the capsule is quite large, it is actually easy to swallow. I am taking it for my joint and eye health and immune support. I have severe dry eye. I haven't taken it long enough to evaluate it for joint health yet - but I am noticing an improvement in my dry eye and a lovely improvement to my skin. I am over 70 and my skin has a sort of "glow" to it. This seems to have developed after going on the ProOmega. As others have reported, there is no fishy taste or fish burps after taking. All in all a great supplement.

I've been taking this for about 2 years and never had a problem until recently. The last 2 bottles I've received had a fishy smell and the gel caps were clumped together. Amazon has been nice enough to refund my money and because it's happened 2 x they are looking into it. My problem is no one else makes this exact kind except nordic naturals and my doctor wants me to take this exact kind for my eyes..what to do with my dilemma 🤷‍♀️

Re-ordered this past summer during heat wave and capsules were stuck together. I was able to gently nudge them apart while only losing one or two. This was the only problem I’ve ever had. Recommended by our healthcare professional. Easy to re-order.

But the last time we got these, the whole bottle of gel caps was stuck together & they are very fishy. 💔😵‍💫 Is it bad to still take them? We have to bang on the bottle to try to break them apart. I tried to gently pull them apart with my hands, & I couldn't shake that fishy smell even after washing. 💔😵‍💫
