Hello fellow potters. Storm is in my top five favorites of all the celadons by this company. In fact, it is more like in the top three favorites. Try mixing it with Albany slip Brown and you'll be amazed! On its own, it has this bluish gray more like a grayish blue Hue and I find that it plays particularly well with the Potter's choice series as well as the other different types of performing glazes. This is a very dynamic Celadon.

Exceeded expectations! First time using Amaco Celadons and I am loving the results for Storm C-27. It’s wonderful over textured pieces and showcases the patterns. This presented as a beautiful navy where it pooled in the recesses and a lighter blue where the glaze broke over the texture. I had no issues with pin-holing, crazing, or running. This was a stable glaze for me and I would suggest layering with a flux if you are looking for movement. I used 3 generous coats on B-mix and fired at cone 5 in community kiln.

Consistent, predictable color. I use it as a mishima glaze once I carve my porcelain and it's easy to wipe off the excess. Consistent color once glazed.

Would be nice if the pictures showed or stated the clay body used since it makes a big difference in color of final product. Using on brown clay it looked almost black
