Better than I expected
I got this when we were planning to be away for 9 days. That is just too long to not feed our fish. I used flake fish food in it while we were gone. It worked fine, so it just kept feeding the fish after we got back. I didn't expect to keep using it. Now we have guppy fry and I am feeding them 4 times using this auto feeder. We are using 'NorthFin Fry starter' which is not as powdery as the 'first bites' fry food. So it does seem to work ok. It was hard at 1st to get the door open the size we wanted for the fry food We tested it many times on paper to see what it would give. Love the manual feeding button for that!Pros--easy to use, easy to set, allows for up to 4x a day with one or more turns of the drum. It has large capacity to hold food. works for consistent feeding--rather home or away. rechargeable--saves on having to have batteries!! Seems to hold a good charge. I haven't had to recharge it yet.Manual option--great for testing, and it is very quiet!! Good clamp attachment--(not like the cheapo we got from walmart! ugh)Cons---Hmmm, it is bigger--longer than expected, so something you have to work around--I didn't find that a huge issue thoughWe bought a cheap auto feeder from walmart before this one--I would not recommend that one--we paid about 18 for it. This one, I paid about 27. Now I see the price has come down. making it more in an acceptable price range--It hurt more to fork out 27 for it!I would buy again. Especially if the price says around 20. (I am considering getting another soon!!)We are Raising Guppies.

Works great! Programmable for multiple feedings per day and adjustable
We love this thing! We go camping often and have several fish with special food needs. I can mix the food together and program it to dispense up to four times a day. I suggest using the manual button to ensure you're releasing the right amount of food per spin, as it can vary. Monitor it before going on trips. I also love that it's rechargeable and attaches easily.

Just okay for turtle food
I liked this little timer. It's perfect for traveling for the weekend. Turtle food fits, but since its bigger than fish food its harder to find the right portion setting (it falls out of an opening that's slightly too big and slightly too small to get the perfect amount); I may break the food up a bit next time to get it more precise. However, I do recommend it, it does work well. Follow the directions step by step and it's not too hard. Set up took about 15 minutes because I wanted to test the timer and portions.

Quality Product
My reef tank relies on this every day for food. Battery lasts so long I forget to look at it to make sure it's still good. Have used multiple other feeders and to date this is the best I've used.

Purchased May 2022 and first recharge was April 2023!
This little battery operated automatic fish feeder has worked flawlessly. I’m so happy I got it - my only regret is that I can’t close the lid of the aquarium with it installed. The rechargeable battery is a beast - just shy of ten months of use until it’s first recharge, while it is used to feed the fish every day. The ‘dosing’ control is a manual slider mechanism, so it took a couple test runs to see how much of the food it would dispense but that was done the day I installed it. I feed my guys Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish floating pellets and it works perfectly with the feeder. I highly recommend this automatic aquarium feeder. Very pleased with this purchase.

The internal clock is malfunctioning.
For several weeks the internal clock functioned fine, and then for some reason it starting losing time and was activating at the wrong time; which isn't good because I'm using this to get pills to my dog on a strict schedule.
