I purchased the bookshelf sticker. I found the colors to be true to those depicted on Amazon. This is a quality, vinyl sticker that is best applied by 2 people. One person can hold the roll and continue to pull off the backing while the other smooths the vinyl against the surface. It would be great if there had been a plastic card included with this purchase. That would have helped immensely with the smoothing process. You can overcome this by using a credit card or similar card. I think it would be much more difficult to try to smooth out the air pockets with just your hands. You can also remove the air pockets by pricking the surface with a pin and then smoothing it out, but I think the results are much more satisfactory with a card. Though I did not need to reposition this sticker, I do think that could be accomplished by gently heating the surface with a hairdryer to loosen the glue and adjust the sticker if that were necessary. I had no difficulty with this sticker tearing. My impression is that the surface of the sticker can be washed without concern for fading or rubbing the paper away as the vinyl appears to be very strong. The sticker comes in 2 sections. I used only 1 of those sections to cover 1/2 of a sliding, particle door in an RV. This was more than sufficient to give the illusion of depth and provide interest. Further, the sticker did not look incomplete by using just 1 section. For reference, I put the long edge of the sticker on the outside edge of the sliding door next to the wall. This is a great way to make an inexpensive and fun update to an otherwise bland surface. It is also a terrific, hassle-free alternative to stripping off the neutral wallpaper that is commonly found in recreational vehicles.

so, I like the sticker but it did not fit the door i placed it on. My bad because I should have looked at the sizes more clearer. It was very easy to put up however , I do have the kit. If you get into puting these stickers up on walls or doors I highly recommend buying the kit . It was very easy to line up and it sticks well. There is about an inch and a half left bare on the door but it still looks good so I am keeping it up. I would share a pic but i am on my computer.

This peel and stick vinyl wallpaper is so easy to install and it adheres to the door so nicely. The color quality is exceptional. I have had it installed for a couple of months already and it looks very durable. It does not interfere with the doors functionality what so ever. I really love the whimsy it adds to my door.

Update: one or two weeks later, one side completely peeled off. Not a fan. The vinyl sticker is shorter than my door. I had to add two strips of trim to cover it up. The two sides are different sizes and will not match up no matter how hard you try. I could tell when applying it that the vinyl was not going to stick. I nailed the trim to the top and bottom which is what is holding the vinyl in place, but it is bubbling on the door. Would not buy again. Will probably have to take off trim and then spray glue the vinyl to the door.

The quality of the image is quite good (tho the book titles are mostly nonsense). The quality of the material is rather poor, with a film over the image that wrinkles and bubbles up. I thought it could be peeled off, but no. Still, it’s more attractive than the door it’s covering, so we’ll keep it up. The film has a good hold and doesn’t appear to stick to the paint. And from a few feet away, it looks just fine.

As with all large stickers, this one can be tough too. Installed on an office door. Took the door knob off first. Grabbed a lint free towel and a 2x2 about the same width of the sticker the from the garage. Wrapped the towel around the small board, pulled back about three inches of the backing and aligned the top of the first half with top of door and outer edge. Then, slowly pulled down the backing while pressing hard and tracking downward with the 2x2. Avoided air bubbles and creases! When totally applied, went back over the entire sticker with the 2x2 contraption, then with just the lint free towel. Used a small pocket knife to trim our the door knob circle. Everything worked great! Still waiting to check out the durability of the adhesive, but am impressed with the view.

The graphics are lovely and what I was looking for. The problem was / is getting it to stick to the door. I have resorted to double back tape which seems to be working.
