Naturally Playful Woodland Climber

This thing was super easy to put together. It took me about 20 minutes to get it out of the box and set it up. There are only three small screws for each steering wheel and 4 longer screws to secure the platform. Otherwise, it snaps together. There aren’t “pre-drilled” holes but I honestly have no idea how that is problematic because there is no guesswork as to where the screws go, and they go right through the plastic without much effort. I wouldn’t even bother getting my drill out for this. Anyways, it’s pretty awesome! I picked this one because the slide is longer and the whole thing is higher, so kids can actually sit and play underneath it, instead of that being wasted space. Also, it’s not gaudy and neon. I like the colors and it actually looks kind of nice on my porch. Something else I really like about it is that the bottom of the slide is propped up a little, so it allows them to land on their feet. In the summer, you can have the slide land in a little pool. I do notice how the platform “gives” a little like others mentioned, but it’s nothing I wouldn’t expect and doesn’t concern me. It’s plastic, so there’s going to be some give, but it’s sturdy. I ordered it at a discount for damaged packaging and everything is fine. It came on the day I scheduled, and it was ready to be played on a half hour later! My cat loves it too, lol.

We got this as a birthday present for my daughter’s second birthday. After watching some YouTube reviews of playsets in action, I settled on this one, and I’m glad I did. The slide is long enough that her feet don’t instantly hit the ground, the ladder is easy to scale, and the whole thing is fairly compact. We have a small area for it in our yarn and it fits perfectly. I’m a 5’ tall, petite woman and I was able to put it together by myself in an hour, with just a screwdriver. A power screwdriver or drill would have made things faster, but it was nothing a little muscle couldn’t handle. Most of the set snaps together without screws and everything is labeled well. Anyone who has put together Ikea furniture can handle this easily. We have no damage or missing pieces so that was nice. There are a few sharp spots on the plastic that I’m worried about scraping, but it’s nothing that can’t be filed down. The only thing I’m not 100% happy with is the steering wheels. They are on there so tight after screwing on, that it’s hard for even an adult to turn. I’m sure they will loosen over time but right now, they aren’t much use. Definitely don’t have to worry about them flying off. The size of this set is perfect for a 2 year old and I predict we will get at least 2-3 years of play on this.

I ordered this for my 2 year old daughter and she loves it. It looks nice in the backyard, love the muted colors. It was so, so easy to put together. I did it myself in about 15 minutes. Helps to have a drill as there are 4 long screws to secure the inside floor safely to the outer walls. The whole thing clicks together pretty well and it will seem like the screws are optional, but feels better to have it tightly secured. It is light enough to move with two people to get it set in place. Once it was up my kid was all over it. It feels very sturdy. When she has friends over they all climb up and jump up and down and give it a hard time. It handles all the kids very well. Definitely make sure you have a soft surface to put this on, grass or sandy area. The kids do start to test climbing out of it from the top. Easy to clean up with a water hose. Really a great thing to have for any kid!

I WISH I had this when I was a kid!! Holy crap this thing is awesome!!! My daughter is a climber, and we got this for her 2nd birthday. I just get anxiety when I watch her climb it though. Wish I was rich with a huge house, b/c then I'd cover her play room with padding and mattresses. It's VERY sturdy, and not only is it the biggest toy we've put together for her, but it was the EASIEST!!! This thing is big, but man o man was it simple to put together. Less than 10 minutes. Now she climbs into in, and jumps up and down the walk way. I was worried b/c it's plastic, but it's hard sturdy plastic so we don't have any worries about it giving away. The only reason I knocked a star off is because the stairs/ladder had a crack in it. Didn't see it til we finished putting it together, and I did NOT want to take it apart and return it. It's not big enough to cause any problems, but for that price it shouldn't have any flaws. GREAT TOY!!! Definitely recommend.

This was purchased for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. I was concerned that the slide would be too short for him to grow into and that there would not be enough room under the platform for play. The slide is a nice size and he should enjoy playing with it for at least 2 more years. The play area under the platform is high enough for him to sit upright with a little room to spare and the entire area has enough room for him to play with a friend and a large of pile of toys. It is his favorite "reading" spot. Everything about the Step2 Woodland Climber is sturdy and nice except that the platform has a lot of give when he walks on it. Of course, being 2, he also jumps, runs and dances on it. I have been examining it carefully and there are no cracks or signs that it might break, but if you are nervous about safety (as I am) you might want to keep an eye on it. Since purchasing the Climber, I have read other reviews that note the give of the platform but none have reported breaking or cracking - this may have been an engineering choice, but nothing is mentioned in the care and use literature.

Received this playset for my 2 year old daugther's Christmas gift. It was easy to set up in her playroom and she just loves it. Perfect for her and her friends. If you have the room as in a bonus room or carpeted area, then this is a great play set for your toddlers. Also, take advantage of the Free Shipping if possible and when offered..Package was too big to load into my SUV, so I waited for free shipping deal to deliver to my front door. It worked out perfectly without the hassle of trying to haul it back to the house during the busy shopping season.

Es muy buena opción para niños que recién caminan, les ayuda a madurar más sus movimientos y psicomotriz gruesa.
