HarperCollins Rachel Goenka's Adventures with Mithai

Yawn
I had been excited about this book for months. Finally, I could learn to make Indian sweets, having been a fan for years but never able to find a good book on the subject. How wrong. This is just a book full of Western style desserts with a nod to Indian flavours here and there. Does putting cardamom in a macaron make it mithai? If you are looking for "tiramisu with a twist" or a whole chapter on macarons this might be the book for you, but there are a million others just like it out there.

Waste of buying if looking eggless recipes.
Recipes are twisted with eggs. If someone is looking for eggless version it is merely waste of money. Don't buy as very less pages have eggless options.

Best recipe book ever
One of the best cookbooks books ever. Amazing recipes and super simple to follow. Best part is that you don’t need a million ingredients like other books. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Unbelievably disappointing
Don’t bother wasting ur money if u are expecting recipes on how to make mithai. It is a fusion book but on the proviso that u already have various mithai available to use.
