Pick a different brand
When I first attempted to install it in my V3100, compatible it said, it barely fit. Was way too big. Once the water cycled thru it fit snug so was ok. After a few days I noticed a horrible odor in my apartment, the source of which I could not find. Finally it occurred to me this product was the only new thing in my apartment and yup, it STINKS! Profound musty and obnoxious odor was coming thru my humidifier with this product. To test this theory I swapped out this new one with my old one and did not clean my humidifier. Yup, no doubt about it it was this filter. So I garbaged it! Absolutely a waste of money.
