Can this connect to iOS ?

If you use ESC/POS protocol to send print to the printer, you can use it to send prints through iOS. But if you want to install the driver and print like what you do on Windows, it's not possible. Usually iOS POS applications use ESC/POS to send prints in iOS.

can you please let me know, how wifi printing work?

If you use Windows, you can install the driver and configure the printer port to printers' WiFi IP address. If you're using Android or iOS, you should use ESC/POS commands to send prints to the printer over WiFi.
