ACT Prep Black Book: The Most Effective ACT Strategies Ever Published

My son told me it was very helpful for his preparation.

Very useful preparatory tool for ACT

The book does NOT contain any practice tests. Instead it walks you through each question and tells you how to solve it (WITHOUT showing the question). It also describes a method of increasing your test score by understanding the way the test is put together. It suggests that by understanding how each version of the test is similarly constructed you can anticipate which questions will be asked and which answers will be correct. In other words, it teaches you how to do better on the test without being any smarter. In other words, it appears to teach you how to cheat.For the record, it's a 500+ page book. I hope you like reading a lot of words that don't seem to much matter at all. It's really wordy...and for no particularly good reason. I recommend this book to no one.

NOTE: get the proper Red Book, not the one that shows up on the Black Book page on Amazon. My son was frustrated to discover that test answers did not line up because we had purchased the incorrect Red Book.
