I have been a huge TMNT fan since my earliest childhood memories. The Mirage comics from the 80s will always hold a special place in my heart. I have thoroughly enjoyed the first 5 hardcover Ultimate Collections, and this one is no different. Instead of collecting Eastman & Laird issues, this book collects short stories that were published in a variety of different books and collections. Some of these stories I had never owned or read before. Not all of them are from Eastman & Laird. There are contributions from Lawson, Dooney, Talbot, Lavigne, Brown, Bisette, Corben, Murphy, Zulli, and Hagenau. After each story there is a short commentary from Eastman & Laird as well as a few pin-ups or drafts with comments. If you are a fan of the previous collections, this is a must have!There has been some confusion as to what exactly is in this book.
