I am rather suspicious of the positive reviews for these corks. I make a lot of wine at home and have bought from many sellers over the years. These corks are the least effective I have used. They are first of all very tight fitting for standard bottles. That was not too much of a problem as I have a very good corking machine that exerts a good deal of pressure. The problem is getting the cork out. They are super cheap in terms of materials, almost as if they are made of sawdust. I would say that even when I take care and use a good corkscrew, the corks is pulled apart in the neck about half the time. Sometimes a second application of a corkscrew gets to severed half out; but sometimes it sticks and all one can do is push the remaining cork into the bottle. That gets the wine out, but the bottle is rendered useless and has to be binned. So bear in mind that these cheap corks may cost you several bottles, thereby negating any saving. I will not by buying again, and would suggest you look elsewhere.

No complaint with corks but product description clearly states...."with corkscrew wine opener"!!!! This is the 2nd time I have purchased this item and neither time received a corkscrew!!!
