This hair brightener has a pleasant chamomile scent and is easy to apply. It helped enhance the brightness of my hair and left it looking shinier. A little goes a long way, and overall the quality is good.

When this arrived, the cap on one bottle was loose and both bottles were messy and sticky. I usually use Sun In and have been using it since I was a teenager (I'm almost 40 now). I've used a few other brands here and there but Sun In is my go-to. I've found Sun In to be 'stronger' than the other more expensive brands from Ulta, etc in terms of how fast it works and how much it lightens Well...this stuff is much stronger than Sun In so GO EASY lol. I sprayed some then sat in the sun for a while and my hair kinda had a weird tint to it and was definitely lighter. After a few days the weird color went away. Given the quantity, price, and how strong it is, I'd say this is a great deal but you just have to be super careful to only use a little at a time. One other comment- I agree with the other reviews that said this product is sticky. I never had that issue with any other product but you will probably want to wash this out of your hair when you're done laying out. It also made my hair feel dry for a few days which I never had before either. I'm hoping that by using much less, the stickiness and dryness will go away.

It does lighten your hair but it takes time, the smell also isn’t very pleasant, I get told it smells like old lady🥲 it leaves my hair extremely dry, and it also leaves a somewhat sticky residue on your hands and hair. But it lightens it so its an okay product 😭
