The Magnum Opus: Seek and you shall find

Wonderfully written. Story is fast-paced and the dystopian world is intricately described. I loved it! A must read!

After watching the pair’s short film, The Maker, I RAN to Amazon to purchase the book written by the two of these master crafters. I am almost finished and my heart is hurting because it will be finished, but I will be re-reading over and over. This is an inspiring, phantasmagorical tale of bravery for all ages and overcoming your own shortcomings that has awoken love for myself and reminded me that I am capable of great things. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to seek and find within themselves - you will walk away a changed soul with an outlook on your expansive possibilities and sigh, knowing that you are capable of amazing things! I felt as if I was journeying with all of the characters who are so wonderfully written and explored in depth — the journey was trying but nevertheless bold and triumphant. I am so grateful I stumbled upon “The Maker” on Youtube. I cannot wait to see what Christopher and Christine have in store for us in the future, and only hope it could be turning this iconic story into a full feature-length film! I bought this after watching the video. I'd say this books takes a completely different way w.r.t the video, still it's quite enjoyable and deep.

Ich habe mir dieses Buch extra als Taschenbuch aus der USA schicken lassen.Da ich zuerst auf das Youtube-Video "The Maker" gestoßen war und dann nach etwas herum schmökern, bei diesem Buch gelandet bin, war ich massiv neugierig. Ich lese sehr gerne etwas auf Englisch, weswegen das für mich keinerlei Problem darstellte. Trotzdem brauchte ich bei manchen Begriffen einen Übersetzer, da die Beschreibungen teils sehr komplex ausfallen.Die Story war für mich einfach nur ein Erlebnis. Nach dem Start, der mir teils aus dem Klappentext und dem Video bekannt waren, wurde man regelrecht ins kalte Wasser gestoßen und es hat bei mir zu einen richtigen WTF Moment geführt. Danach folgte man einer liebevoll ausgearbeiteten Story, die niemals ihren roten Faden verliert.Für mich ist dieses Buch nicht nur ein märchenhaftes, fantastisches Abenteuer, sondern ein Liebesbeweis an die Kreativität, das Schreiben, die Musik und die Kunst etwas zu erschaffen.
