Otter Wax Boot Wax | 2oz | All-Natural Leather Waterproofer | Made in USA

I have now used this on 4 pairs of boots. As shown in picture, I have used this twice on my Vivobarefoot ESC all leather hiking boots. This has not only made them very resistant to water, but the leather is softer and more subtle, as well as looks a clean deeper color and honestly looks better than when they were new. I have also used these on my Ariat Cowboy boots, my Thorogood Boots, and even my wife's dress boots that she has had for many years. This wax did a great job on all of them. Her boots look brand new and were about 6 years old at the time. It is also quite easy to apply. I just used a microfiber towel, rubbed in circles until the wax was a on the towel and then applied in swirling motions around the boots. After using this single container on 4 pairs of boots, I have approximately half of the wax left so its safe to say you can get a solid 8-12 pairs of boots done with a single can.

I work in corrections and this boot wax has been a boot saver! Excellent quality, smells not too strong. Water just beads off my boots, wax dries quickly when applying and makes my boots beautiful.

Unsure of whether or not my Ariat cowboy boots were waterproof or not, I purchased this for some peace of mind. Applying little bits at a time with a rag, the wax took well to my leather boots and also seemed to lightly darken the leather back to their original color. As an added bonus the minor scuffs almost seemed to disappear. After leaving the boots untouched for a couple of days there was no waxy stickiness or other residue to deal with. I somewhat hesitantly walked straight through a puddle the next time I was out on a walk in my boots and my feet remained perfectly dry. So I believe it did what it was advertised to do. For a made-in-USA product, the price for this seems like a great value. And given how much wax they send, it will be easy to re-up my boot's waterproof protection for years to come.

I love this wax as an alternative to the waterproofing sprays. It was simple to apply with a rag. It darkens the color of the leather a little, but my boots look much newer now!

Game changer used these on a pair of leather turn shoes that I used for medieval reenactment. Kept my feet nice and dry in the damp grass over the weekend. I’m quite pleased!

Easy to apply with a brush. It did change the color of my boots, but I actually like the color more and would rather my boots be protected. Smells good and goes on smooth. I’ll be able to speak on the waterproofing next week. First photo is just the tongue, and then I did the whole boot. I would recommend.

Sehr gutes Wachs, dass einen sehr angenehmen Geruch (da ohne jegliche synthetische Chemikalien) und sehr gute pflegende und wasserabweisende Eigenschaften besitzt. Um Leder wasserdicht zu bekommen, sollte man es regelmäßig auftragen. Das Leder dunkelt temporär leicht ab, hellt aber wieder auf. Empfehlenswertes Produkt.

Ik heb de wax gebruikt om een helemaal uitgedroogd leren jasje te voeden. Het leer stond op het punt om overal te barsten maar na behandeling is het terug helemaal zacht en soepel. Ik ben heel blij! Ik heb redelijk wat product gebruikt (ca. 70% van een klein potje) maar gezien de barre staat van het leer lag dat in de lijn van de verwachtingen. Het aanbrengen is simpel. Met een microvezel doekje de wax met draaiende beweging in het leer wrijven en that's it. Nadien heb ik het jasje 24u laten drogen (op een kapstok op kamertemperatuur). Het was mijn bedoeling om na de droogtijd nog eens met een schoon doekje over het jasje te gaan om eventuele wax resten te verwijderen maar dat bleek niet nodig te zijn. Al het product werd volledig opgenomen door het leer 👍 Ik ben blij dat ik voor otterwax heb gekozen ipv voor een simpel chemisch alternatief. Zoals steeds weer heeft moedertje natuur alles in huis dat we nodig hebben ❤️
