Can I use this oil on my tools? Like chrome plated wrenches and others related tools and how often do I have to reapply the oil to prevent rust??

I have not used the oil on chrome plated tools but I have used the oil on my expensive hand planes, plane irons, chisels and other steel woodworking tools and it works great to protect them from rust.

Yes it is, but no, you should not use it for cooking. It says specifically on the bottle that it is not food grade, whether that's because it isn't 100% camellia oil or just because food-grade standards of cleanliness and quality haven't been maintained, I don't know. Either way, don't eat it. Or put it in your hair.
