How many pearls in total..I see different amounts in answers?

In my purchase.. 50 pearls in total.

How big is the hole in the bead? I have a 2mm leather string, does that fit through there?

Probably will not fit 2mm for leather. I’m a leather worker and this is a very small hole in the pearl. I’m not sure if .5mm beading line would fit. They’re pretty but I wouldn’t chance it.
