Great long lasting shine
I have a slate floor in the entry way. It was dull and would not hold a shine after washing. This wax put a beautiful shine on the floor that has remained after cleaning. It is easy to apply and does what is expected.

Don't trust this product
The initial can of this sealer that I was using was a golden clear color but ran out in the middle of job. Ordered this one that was stated to be same product but was a milky color supposed to dry clear and it turned my stone a dull milky white. Now I have a stone shower that is half glossy and half milky. This product is horrible it not the same! I now have to reacidize my shower and find better product to use

Prospective buyers beware! Product's description and picture are NOT the same.
Bought this several months ago for a project that I'm just getting around to and realized after closer inspection that what was sent to me/what described in the product title (Slate Wax) is completely different from what I thought I was buying/what is advertised in this product's picture. Now I have a bottle of slate wax that I don't need and am now back to trying to find the slate sealer I wanted in the first place.It's completely my fault for not having paid enough attention to the product page before buying and for not having noticed I got the wrong product faster, but I thought I can help others avoid the same mistake.

good wax for slate. Really water proof.
I've tried three other products - this is the only one I've found that is really waterproof. I have a slate shower and the slate was deteriorating. No other product helped. This one stopped the deterioration.Be warned - even with this product, you need to reseal the slate in a shower monthly.

Would not recommend it for use on stone cutting boards or food ...
Not the product I was looking for. Its not 'wax' as used in professional stone polishing applications. Its more of a finishing sealer/protectant. Would not recommend it for use on stone cutting boards or food grade applications. Thought it would shine up some uba tuba but only put an acrylic/textured matte finish on the stone. Not what I was trying to do. I guess its semi waxy, smooth but sticky style finish would work for most general applications BUT with small, craftsmen pieces of stone that require a showroom, glossy shine with smooth glassy to the touch fishishes, your better off just wet polishing the material smooth and not using anything like this to add shine ect.

Did not do what I thought it was going to do...it made the look worse. Very disappointing.
