After losing 40 lbs, I went into a 6-week slump where I couldn't lose another ounce no matter what I did. I heard about Hydroxycut and saw ads for it on TV. I went on Amazon and read a lot of reviews before I decided to pick this brand.Within half an hour, I was freezing, shaking uncontrollably and vomiting constantly, even when there was just bile in my stomach. An ambulance was called and they took me to the nearest hospital, where it was decided to admit me.I was given something intravenously to stop the vomiting because I couldn't swallow anything. I was also given something for pain, since by that time I had a horrible headache.For whatever reason, I was given a CAT scan. The doctors found that I had a kink in my small intestine, which could have led to a blockage and been very serious. So, you might say that this horrible product saved my life. Needless to say, all the leftover pills were flushed down the toilet.It was explained to me that Hydroxycut contains at least eight times the amount of caffeine that is in a cup of coffee. I don't drink anywhere near that amount, so my body just could not handle it. Good luck to those who still want to try it, but I could have died, so it wasn't worth the price.

I feel like this def gives a boost in energy and all though my husband likes them they give me horrible headaches. And he gets them too especially if you don’t tend to eat breakfast and workout in the morning. I’ve tried many supplements and although the majority of the ingredients in this make sense and should work well I’ve found myself dreading taking them. I am convinced it’s the accumulation of RED DYE that’s obviously in the pills (bright red color) because I didn’t start getting the headache until about the 4th day but now every time I take them the headache comes back. Needless to say I’ve discontinued use. I’ll go back to my favorite even though it’s much more pricey. Performix SST. I only tried these due to my husband wanting them and side note he has been having headaches too.

Really hard to use these as directed if you don't have a "normal" 3 meal a day schedule. You're supposed to take 2 before your 2 biggest meals. I'm a big coffee drinker, but there's SO MUCH caffeine in these that even with my tolerance I can only take 2 a day before 1 meal. Because I don't typically eat both breakfast AND lunch, and my schedule only lets me have dinner around 9-10pm...so I take 2 before breakfast or lunch but I cannot take another 2 after 9pm or I won't sleep. It's kinda nuts how much caffeine is in them.They definitely do give me more energy for working out, so I've tried to change my eating schedule a bit so I can take them, exercise, then eat after an hour. But idt I'll ever be able to take them before dinner.

I've taken these on and off for a couple of years. I definitely feel the energy and have less of an appetite when I take them. When I saw the reviews here of people who received white pills and claimed they are fake, I did some research. It appears that there are two versions. The red version is sold in the US and a white version with less or no yohimbe is sold internationally. The bottle I got is authentic and had a verified scannable muscletech hologram on it.
