I have been using retinol for over a year with some good results but my skin started reacting badly to one of the ingredients in the brand I was using previously. I recently learned about slow release retinol and thought to give this a try. The retinol concentration isn’t as high as the serum I was using but I also recently read that higher retinol concentrations don’t mean much. Do your research. About this product: so far so good in terms of adverse reactions. The formula has spf 30 sunblock which is good but not enough for outdoors. It’s a good, thin daily moisturizer. I have normal, sensitive skin with a bit more oil production around my nose but it’s not really oily. It has a light fragrance which I wish it didn’t but it’s not unpleasant. The retinol seems to be doing it’s magic too but I have been on retinol for over a year so I’m not expecting miracles, only prevention and maintenance. About the sunblock aspect: It’s a mixture of different chemical sunscreens with avobenzone being the first ingredient. It’s oxybenzone free, which is a plus for me since my skin tends to react badly to it. I wish they were all physical/mineral sunscreens but I guess they didn’t create this product to be used as sunscreen anyway. So you shouldn’t rely on this for that purpose either. One last thing about the packaging: it comes in a thick, heavy, completely opaque glass container. Retinol degrades in the sun and this packaging should prevent that. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. I’ll update my review once I finish the bottle. Until then, try it yourself. A side note: I bought directly from amazon, not a fulfilled by Amazon seller and the product I received is authentic, checked the barcode and the seals and all. Don’t hesitate to get directly from Amazon.ETA: I finished the bottle with daily use in 2.5 months. The fragrance started bothering me after the first week of use. Now I find it really overbearing. I won’t repurchase this but I did buy the fragrance free night cream instead. I wish they had the fragrance free version with SPF. The chemical sunscreen in this product bothered my skin time to time as well. I prefer physical (mineral) sunscreens.

Very good for every day use before sleep. Gives a glowing next day and texture is so smooth

Good and geniuine product. Best choice for someone in the 30s keeps u young. Apply before using makeup.

I don’t understand what’s so special about it..didn’t make a difference in my skin and it’s way too expensive for very little product.

I used the product only twice And my skin had a lot of breakouts overnight. It was a nightmare.I wasn't sure at first. So I tried again third time after the breakout subsided. But again next day I had 2-3 acnes pop up.My recommendation to anyone having oily skin. Please don't use this product at !
