Perfect for big hands
I got these for my adult daughter as a replacement for her joycons that went for a swim. O7Unfortunately, they are uncomfortably big for her small hands, but the original joycons are too small for me so we switched. Very happy to have controlled that for my hands.Only two complaints. 1. They do not slide on/off very easily. It sometimes gets stuck. 2. They aren't good for single joycon play (1 joy con held sideways). The button layout and controller shape make it very uncomfortable.

With basic repairs, these can survive a 4yr old player!
Summary: I share use of my switch with my four-year-old daughter, and we needed sturdy Joy-cons with no drift. I've had them for 8 months and they have been handled roughly. The shape has been comfortable for my large adult hands AND my daughter's tiny ones. The controller casing WILL break if abused, but they are solidly built because if you can put it back together, it will make like a Nokia and keep working. The electronics within are well made. I made only two repairs in 8 months; reassembling separated plastics, and removing some electric tape that came loose. Occasionally needed re-calibration, but NO DRIFT. Only truly broke (beyond basic repairs) when hit so hard the soldering on a button snapped.Details:These were purchased because the Nintendo ones drifted (of course), and I wanted a sturdier build. These Joycons looked sturdier, and after three days they proved their durability. My daughter dropped the Switch with them attached. The right Joy-con came apart; the top and bottom casing had opened enough that the railing popped out, so the joy-con slipped off the switch. A small screw-driver and some reassembly later, and the controller was back in service. The attachment to the switch was notably looser than before, but it was still firm enough you could hold the right controller only and it wouldn't come off at all. When my child dropped it again months later, it wouldn't turn on. Cracked it open, looked inside, and found the battery and circuit board had a piece of tape curled up between them. I suspect it was shorting out the battery, but I am no electrical engineer. Removed the tape, reassembled, and I had a functional joy-con again. Not once did these drift. Now, they would seem to be drifting a few times, but a re-calibration set it right. And those few times were months apart. That ain't drift; that's electronics in the hands of a four-year-old.I'm writing this review because after 8 months I am buying a second set. Why? Because I was the one that finally broke it. I dropped it off my desk by accident. It fell hard. It broke the soldering on the left shoulder switch and made the right shoulder switch stick sometimes. I cannot fix electrical issues. If not for the bad switch, I'd still be using the pair I've got, because they aren't drifting.I bought the warranty this time; I'll happily keep using these if they'll fix the big damage.

Really Nice With Some Slight Issues
I bought these a few months ago after accidentally drowning one of the joycons that came with my system, and I think now is a good time to review them.First off, the colours are super nice and easy on the eyes! Not too bright, but still very cute and cozy.Next, the size of the joycons are definitely different from your standard joycon. I don't mean they're too big for the console, I mean that they have more girth than the flat regular joycons that make them feel more like you're holding a console controller for your Xbox or Playstation. It makes playing for long periods like I do much more comfortable. Now I do want to bring up that there are some small issues with them that aren't a huge deal but I feel are still important all the same. When I first got these and charged them up to play on my TV from the dock, I found that they weren't holding a charge long enough to play. So when I then attached them to my system, they seemed to be sapping a portion of my system's power. That problem only lasted the first week or so as now I can play without keeping my system plugged in constantly for several hours.Another thing I want to point out is how it comes with a card that you need a card reader in the joycon to read to give you a mystery prize in Animal Crossing New Horizons, however these controllers do NOT have the sensor needed to do that and for people in my situation that had to replace the joycons because of disfunctionality, that makes getting the little surprise impossible. It probably wasn't a ground breaking gift, but I still would have liked to have been able to see what it was.Aside from all that, I have yet to have any drift problems or problems with any of the keys! I also like that the buttons are clackier than the original joycons. It makes me just as happy as hearing really loud PC keyboard keys, which is a lot.I know buying stuff for your console from a 3rd party can be scary, but this was definitely a good buy for the price it was asked for. From what I can tell, you'll be better off getting replacement joycons from any brand BUT Nintendo because the brand name joycons seems to almost always either already have or quickly develope a drift which can be extremely annoying when playing games like Legend of Zelda or Minecraft.Overall, I really enjoy these joycons and I'm glad I made the choice to get these!
