I really like this paint. The colors are beautiful and rich. It is worth noting that each color pot is about twice the width of a quarter, and taking the plastic film off of each one is a tedious process (use a tweezer), but you get a lot of mileage from them because they are very concentrated. Another downside is that the color pots tend to pop out of place pretty easily, so you have to pop them back in. Overall, I like this product and would order it again.

Amazing product!! Simply amazing!!! First of all I have never used face paint. Just keep that in mind. Also keep in mind my sons and I have eczema!The colors are vibrant!I did my face and my sons face for Halloween and yet it seems like I barely used any 😊👍🏻 My son did try and run it however it didn't smudge 👌🏻👍🏻 When it did start falling of was when he started crying 3 hours later when we got to the trick or treat area 😫 Then it started running but it's understandable and I was very happy that happened lol I would have freaked out if that wouldn't of happened!You will have a blast with this stuff❤️

With a little water and a good brush, these face paints were easy to apply. The result was smooth, even, and opaque (though this of course depends on how much water you add - only a little water required!) I was able to paint both detail with a small brush and cover large areas with a big brush. Colors could be blended much like gouache. The paint dried nicely, and my cat face (see photo) lasted all day - I kept it on for almost 12 hours. I am an artsy person with paint and brush experience, which does help with paint application. However, both my 2 and 5 year olds, familiar with watercolors, also had fun painting themselves with this set. A great palette of colors, and though the paint cakes look small, the pigment is very concentrated and there's definitely enough to cover many faces. I highly recommend!

My 11 year old loves for me to paint her face on special school days, for sports games, on Halloween and for her birthday parties. We have a good time with it. Here are some brief thoughts:-Colors: I've used 3 kits total and this one bar far has the best colors. Most other kits have around 10 colors and I find myself having to do some mixing to get some colors we need. This kit has every color imaginable.-Extras: This is one of the reasons I am docking a star. This is solely face paint. It would be nice if it came with a brush and sponge. They are pretty basic and cheap. But I could see myself ordering this for a birthday party. Opening it the morning of the party only to realize there are no brushes. So if you're buying this don't forget to pick up some brushes, a sponge and maybe some glitter.-Consistency: This paint has a great consistency. With a drop of water it sticks to the brush well and then paints on nice and solid. It's very easy to use. I've bought cheap Halloween paint before and had a terrible time with it. This is much better than anything I've ever found in the store.-Size: The paints are small, but they will last a long, long time. Since I'm not going to be painting my daughters face for another month I wanted to test this out to review it. I painted a heart on my hand. There's not a dent in the pink paint where I took it. In fact, the paints still look new even after testing them out. I do think the plastic it comes in is too deep for the paint size. I have to push up on the bottom to pop the paint out in order to peel the plastic off. It's kind of nice that the paint can come out and is in a little plastic cup though. If we were doing a party and had a couple face painters, we could just pop all these out and put them on a tray in the middle and grab each little pod as needed.Overall, I'm settling on 4 stars. I want to give it 5, but I think including even a cheap brush would be nice for people who want to buy one kit for everything. Having my paints separate from my brushes means there's a good chance I'll loose the brushes. I do highly recommend this set. The colors are wonderful! I was sent this for testing and review purposes. That has no bearing on my rating or review of it. This is my honest opinion.

FINALLY a face paint that claims to be for sensitive skin and follows through on that claim. My son's skin is extremely sensitive. I have to make almost everything topical for him with 100% natural ingredients. Even then not everything natural works either. When it came to getting face paint for Halloween I was at a loss. This product goes on easily, stays on a full day, and washes off when needed. He didn't break out or turn red at all. He said it didn't itch or irritate his face. My whole family used a different color and it literally doesn't feel like wearing anything. It is not thick and heavy or sticky. I am very pleased with this product!! Even though our whole face was painted the paint goes a long way. It looks like we used very little at all. I will never use a different face pain

We tried to use this at school for Día de los Muertos. It was impossible to make the black dark enough to even *resemble* black for the eyes. We ended up using some other face paint crayon-type sticks for that instead. :( The white was also difficult to make paste-y enough to be *visible* omg. It worked so-so by scrubbing it really hard with the water and mixing wayyyy too long, but difficult enough and transparent enough that I wouldn't recommend buying this.

This product is great! The plastic film that protects each paint disk is a bit tricky to remove, but once you have that done, the pallet is a breeze to use! I bought two and a friend and I painted faces at a fair - we easily did about 50 faces each and the paints held up very well all day. There is plenty left to do more. The water activation means you can use a relatively thin coat of paint, which makes it comfortable to wear around. The colors are very vibrant and opaque, but you can also layer and mix them. I like the vegan non-toxic aspect of this paint as well - it made me feel confident that kids weren't going to end up with irritated skin.

I am an acrylic paint artist and this behaves just the way you would want! It is so wonderful because a little goes a long way! So many beautiful color options! Once this is gone, I will come back for this one again! Totally worth it!

Definitely a five star review - I've been a professional makeup artist for 6 years and was trained using what is considered "high quality" face and body paint in the industry... the only thing was that it was filled with toxic chemicals and non-vegan ingredients, so I refused to continue using it. Since then I've tried multiple brands and products that declare themselves as organic and natural only to find out that there was no real definition for those words.Upon my annual hunt this Halloween season for nontoxic and vegan face paint, I came across Bayleaf Botanicals, and bought the product originally trusting the comments and reviews of previous customers hoping the product would be as great as they claim it to be. To my satisfaction, the products were even better than I had hoped for!!!They're easy to activate (with water),easy to blend,great saturation,super lightweight on the face (doesn't shrivel or dry it out)DOESN'T stain! easily washes off with water (I use a little bit of rosehip oil and a wash cloth or any kind of oil would work!)you can do multiple full face applications before running out of a colour.

Wow these are fantastic! It looks like such little product but it's so concentrated I need barely any water to get smooth creamy color. Blends really well on the skin and washes off like a dream. I super recommend these!
