Out of the box 5 min installation that works like a charm!
I was hesitant about which PCIe card to buy, given that there are so many with varying price ranges, features, reputations and most offputtingly, reviews! Originally I was looking at StarTech.com's 2x USB-C PCIe card for around £50. I had never heard about Inateck before, but with the addition of 3 x USB 3.0 (you can never have too many) and for a slightly cheaper price, I felt it was the right choice to make, and so I threw my dice...I'm so happy with the result. Fantastic power for a good price. Just stick it in and off you go. No driver updates necessary! Don't hesitate to buy this if you're umming and ahing; you'll be very pleased with your purchase

Great way to add USB 3.2 ports
Bought this to replace a USB 3.0 PCI-E card which was slow and caused PC boot-up problems. No such issue with this one - driverless install, boot problems gone and transfer speed from external drives really fast. Slightly more expensive card than others, but well worth the extra outlay as it works properly / reliably.

Works out of the box - issues with Zoom crash if Logitech BRIO webcam plugged into USB3 Type A port
Everything works to spec, and this is surprisingly good considering I am using this card on a legacy Mac Pro 2012 5,1 desktop.Only issue I have encountered is when selecting the Logitech BRIO into a USB 3.1 Type A port and selecting the camera in the Zoom web conferencing app, in HD mode. Zoom does not crash with HD mode turned off, and under identical circumstances in Windows 10, or MacBook Pro running Big Sur with HD ON.I can operate the camera in Low Resolution mode, or choose HD mode when plugging into one of the USBC ports on the card. Still trying to find out whether this is 30fps or 60fps. I raised tickets also with Zoom and Logitech over this issue, and no-one has a clue so far.

Fast USB speeds
Have this on my PC for almost a year now. Transfer speeds are very high. Gigabytes of data moved in seconds!

PC refuses to boot after card installed
After installing the card on a PCI express x 4 slot (PCI express Gen 3). The PC refused to boot. Removing the card and PC boots normally. Tried several x4 and x8 slots with same result. Also tried on a different PC, same result. Returning the card for a refund.

Needs better filtering for usb audio devices
This is working fine in terms of specified power output and data rate. Also, worked out of the box with Ubuntu Linux. However, when I use to drive a usb dac, there is significant electrical noise on the DAC sound when compared to plugging directly in to my motherboard usb ports. The noise is mostly from the PCI-E bus power as gets a lot worse when the graphics card is working hard.

Good quality, easy installation. Just worked. :-)
I was looking for some additional USB 3 and USB C sockets for my PC, as I have a lot of external hard disks, controllers and other peripherals. I did not want the hassle of additional internal power connectors, and this was one of the few reasonably priced cards that gave what I was after.Packaging was small and basic but perfectly good enough. Installation was simply a matter of plugging in to a spare PCI slot - windows 10 sorted out the drivers automatically. It just worked. Plugged in devices functioned without any fuss. Not tested the bandwidth or throughput claims yet - but note the the top four sockets (I think) share the same controller and bandwidth (only an issue if you are using multiple data hungry devices at the exact same time). The bottom one should be full speed.Overall, very happy with this card.
