Q: How do i properly sand this from a rough pour to a finished glossy surface?

Everyone uses a different process; however, I generally start with an 80 to 100 grit wet/dry sandpaper, increasing in increments. I take it up to 10000 grit. Some stop at a lower grit. I then use several car polishing compounds’, once again from more texture to less. My final act is to use a car wax and buff it out. It’s time consuming, but I like the final results.

Q: Will this work on a mosaic table (grouted, waterproofed glass tiles) ?

It should; my concern would be small particles of the grout floating around in the resin. Possibly an initial coat of tabletop resin to seal everything and then do the deep pour.

Q: Does this epoxy adhere to metal?

What type of metal are you using? Metal is tricky because it will expand and contract at a different rate which could cause the epoxy to pull away from the surface over time.

Q: I'm pouring 2" deep in 3 pours to 'float' a product. Do I mix 3 separate batches or refrigerate until other layers gel?

This would require 3 separate pours. Please allow the prior layer to cure (can take 48+ hours) before applying the next layer.
