Q: What is the difference between this set and the more expensive one? They have the same size case opening tool.. does one include a press?

There is a small press...my guess is this is a lighter duty set for the home DIY person who will make occasional use rather than using it in a business setting. Realistically you get what you pay for and, if you desire high end top quality stuff, you'll need to step up and prepare to pay for it. In my case I needed to adjust the bracelet length on my 25 year service Seiko and figured this would be about the same cost and I might be able to use the tools again for changing batteries in other watches.

Q: Is it ok with small watch

The wrench big and robust. It will adjust to a small watch but ... you might have to take off the band to use this wrench. The rest of the kit will work on any watch.
