I recieved my order but on my first look i noticed some scratch marks on it which indicates to me that it had been used in some manner.

I used to have Klein linemans, but decided to give these a go. They don’t rust as quickly, have the tether (haven’t found Klein even offers that option), and the cutters are much stronger. I use them on romex staples, as cutters, and strippers. Hold them up to the light, and there’s no gaps in the cutters at all! My Kleins couldn’t withstand 1/3 off the use these have had. Forget Klein all together, Knipex is the new king of the hill for electrical. I only wish they made screwdrivers.

Knipex are top of the line tools that last! Great product and as advertised.

I am not an electrician. But I decided to treat myself when I saw it at a steal price of $62 here in Canada. (It might have been an Amazon Warehouse item. These are supposedly used but really normally just have damaged packaging.) Even though it’s a North American style pair of pliers, you can get them in Europe, sometimes for a really good price. I recently saw them for 30 euros on Amazon.fr but that’s an unusually low price, This is a heavy-duty and versatile pair of electrician’s pliers: it has high leverage, so you use less force; it has comfortable grips; it can crimp terminals; it can cut through larger diametre wires; the jaws are cross-serrated so provide better grip; it has a fish tape puller.
