JIC Gem Polished Dyed Green Agate Bookend(s) - 1 Pair - 2 to 3 Lbs

The picture on the site shows the pigment effectively diffused through the stone. While all rock is naturally going to absorb differently, it was easy to tell that the level of care applied to the one I got was not taken to the same degree as what is pictured

As advertised. These are the 6-8lb natural. I got these to compliment some blue agate bookends I found at West Elm and these are bigger, included rubber feet to protect the shelves (unlike the ones from West Elm) and were also a few dollars less expensive. After reading other reviews I knew to order the largest size and avoided the dyed versions due to reports of issues with the colored dye causing stains. However, I just ordered 2 more sets in black and blue since I realized the colors will stand out better against my beige walls.

Okay. The ones I got are nearly perfectly matched and have beautiful markings. I'm sad because I didn't see that they came in different sizes so you can see they are a little underwhelming on my mantel. Regardless, the pieces are beautiful and I am pleased with the purchase. I just wanted to add a poo of color with something my dumb cat can't knock of and shatter on the granite hearth.

I really like the look and polished finish of these. They go well with the theme of the room they were going into. I would have liked for them to have a velvet underside to prevent scratching furniture surfaces but for the money it’s still good. I can get that taken cared of by buying some at a hobby store...or Amazon. Good styling decor.
