I installed this on my 19 colorado and it works perfectly. Only issue I had was needing to run the decrypter tool 3 times because it froze the first two times. Third time worked perfectly. Its nice to be able to use existing fobs. Last thing to note is you have to push the lock button 3 times very slowly or it won't work. I purchased the long range of kit as well and I highly recommend. For $270 all in, it was cheaper than anywhere else.

The Start-X Remote Starter Kit works great so far, and the functionality is solid once everything is up and running. However, the setup process was a bit confusing due to unclear instructions and the need to use a third-party app, which made things more complicated than necessary. Once installed, it performs as advertised, but the experience would be much smoother with clearer directions and a more streamlined app. Overall, I'm satisfied, but the setup frustrations are the reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5.

Fairly straightforward install. You must push lock button slowly. Push button count one push button count two push button third time to start.

Like - easy to install the hardware Dislikes - though the box stated that the product was for a Colorado/Canyon, the software which programs the module stated that the product was for a Chevy Silverado. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with my difficulties. Anyway, after several attempts of programing the module, the truck failed to start even though I verified the install was complete through both written and website instructions. Returned.

This install was pretty simple and straightforward. The hardest part was removing the vehicle under dash panel. I will say you should probably be comfortable with DIY stuff. Also you will need a windows computer to complete the install. Lastly, To activate the autostart the 3 lock presses are much more slower than I was initially doing. It is like one press every second. Initially I thought I screwed up the install, but it actually works flawlessly. Very happy with the product.
