Bought this in October 2021. Used it daily for my commute to work. Love how it collapses and makes it easy for the city commute when I'm on the subway.This morning, 14 months into regular use through rain, snow, humid summer, and regular fall/spring weather, the clasps in the back side that pop the middle of the helmet up broke. I thought maybe the helmet would be under warranty, but alas, can't figure out how to file for a replacement or repair.Not sure how it broke - normal wear and tear? I pop it open and close it maybe 2-4 times a day, 6 days a week?I was tempted to switch to a Fend for my 2nd helmet, because I wanted something that folded a little smaller, but Closca still measures as more lightweight and more affordable.

It's really not that much smaller folded than my regular helmet is; it takes up about the same amount of real estate in my suitcase. But it's comfortable and I don't have to remember to pack/unpack it because it stays in my suitcase and prevents my regular helmet from getting damaged due to travel.

Great helmet, unfortunately the plastic piece at the back is thin and beveled so you end up with two sharp edges rubbing u at the base of your skull (short hair). I imagine folks with longer hair will not notice until it breaks their hair over time.

I don’t bike without my helmet. Wait, I lied. I usually don’t bike without my helmet. And they are so clunky. This one folds up. I mean, not to a tiny side, but it folds into itself. And I was able to secure lights to it as well.Long story, even longer, I did one of those donation things for a foldable helmet. I have yet to receive the F’ing thing. I get updates. But where the f’ is the damn thing?So, I broke down and bought this one. I didn’t have to wait YEARS and when I wear it, I feel like Devo. Which is a plus, in my book.BTW the other invisible helmet I never received is a place with grass where you play and the stone in a wedding ring. They SUCK!

It’s very easy to use, and it seems sturdy. The only issue I’ve had is that the buckle moves around a bit and was initially hard to secure. A little annoying, but I still give it 5 stars.

I love the general idea of this helmet. The collapseable design makes it easy to fit into a backpack with your laptop. It's comfortable too. A bit big with a Euro design.However, I have one big issue: the helmet clasp is tied just via plastic bands. About two months in, I noticed the male clasp was gone. My partner has a helmet as well so I checked hers, which was starting to slip off as well. If you're aware of it, I think you can keep re-adjusting it to not have an issue. But if you're not it'll slip away and you'll be stuck with a helmet that's worthless.I contacted Closca support and they wouldn't do a thing (claiming it was user error) but Amazon was more helpful.TLDR: good helmet, but be wary of the clasp. If you manage that proactively it's 5 stars.

Out of the box, the helmet feels of good quality. It is light, folds and unfolds easily and has a nice design compared to traditional helmets.Once you wear it, you can adjust it to fit tightly on your head.Because of its size when unfolded, this helmet will not look good on everyone. Depending on your face’s shape, it might kill your look at this big thing on your head could become overwhelming. So personally, I am returning this helmet and will be looking for something of a different size/shape.

Was looking for something easy to carry and this complimented my collapsible bike. Although the term collapsible goes against everything a bike and helmet should inherently be. This helmet is the the ultimate must by for all safety fashion enthusiasts. I have survived numerous crashes and baseball bats to the head thanks to this delightful piece of equipment. Unfortunately I purchased it in grey and have had to quit school because I am now deemed too cool. Someone said it was because I am in my mid thirties, but I think that's fake news.

very light, very easy to open and close, seems it's 1st class quality, comfortable, size adjusts quickly even wearing a beanie in this cold weather, my head is 60/61 cm so in spring/summer just need to tighten fitting a bit, seems to have all the quality test marks for safety - hopefully will never need to try that out!!!! Looked at lots, this seems to be the best and fits the bill for recreational and non serious sporting biking - I am 70!! Recommended and is pretty compact when closed. The Brompton and I are happy.

Necesitaba un casco para mi bicicleta eléctrica. Me gustó el diseño de estos cascos, pero me pareció excesivo pagar tanto, así que elegí este modelo que parecía tener un precio razonable. Para ser honesto, estaba un poco preocupado porque solo había una reseña y el precio parecía muy diferente. The helmet is very well designed. It is very light, simple, and ergonomic, without unnecessary bits of plastic; it looks fantastic (reminded me of the Guggenheim museum in NY). The reflective band looks white in the daylight, but it really shines in the dark when hit by a light; it looks three-dimensional as opposed to a simple reflective surface. Good for safely in dark winter evenings. It is easy to store and carry when collapsed.However, the L size should be listed as XL in comparison with other helmets I have used.

The helmet is very stylist and comfortable. I went for a M size and it is indeed foldable and practical. For the price, I expected to have more ventilation (it got hot when using it) and that it didn’t leave terrible marks on my forehead.
