Nice firm pad - good for strengthening ankle/leg muscles and working on balance. It doesn't squish too much but allows for some instability. Pets seem to think it's a chew toy so keep it out of reach.

Great product to use daily to enhance balance and flexability. Recommended by my physical therapist over a year ago and I still use it weekly.

It's hard to compare these types of cushioning/stability pads. I wanted something large enough to stand and kneel on and to do planks (resting elbows). I was unable to find any sort of rating of the density which would be a good way to compare them. This is a mid-priced pad which I hoped meant it was dense enough to provide cushioning for my needs. I've used it twice now at the gym and so far it is just what I need. Works well, seems sturdy enough for being used 4-5 time per week, has good cushioning ability, and looks like it will be easy to clean. One consideration is size. This is the larger of the two. I likely would have been as satisfied with the smaller version.

Made well. Got it for wife who is going to therapy for neuropathy and balance and she uses it there. This is high quality. I would have to say it equal to the more expensive one. Good price and feels great on the feet. One issue I think is none of these pads comes with exercises to do. YouTube has some videos

Nothing will ever match the top of the line Airex pads but this is the closest I have found. Love it for my private studio!

I'm a personal trainer who purchased this pad as a more economic alternative to the Airex pad. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is I have just recently purchased 2 of them (one for one of my clients) and am interested to see how they hold up to use over a period of time. I'm using it with my clients not only for balance work, but also as a pad for their knees or wrist while doing ground exercises. Many of my clients are in the 60+ age range and keeping them comfortable is very important! So far so good, we like your pad a lot!Update 2/17/18 I originally ordered the first 2 pads in January of 2017...one year+ later, they are still in perfect condition and I have ordered additional ones for other clients as well as for a friend just last week who kneels a lot in his work and spotted my pad in my car and was wowed by it. He wants to buy them for all his guys working for him, so your pad has found yet another valuable use! I have changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 since my original purchase..highly recommend this pad for anyone!

I have a really hard time kneeling while working out, it hurts my knees, I bruise incredibly easy and get frustrated when I can't give my workout 100%, even rolled up towels didn't work for me. This thing however is a life saver.It has the perfect firmness (nicely squishy/soft but still firm) and thanks to the thickness you don't end up with your knees on the floor even with all your weight on them.If you like meditating but don't wanna sit on the floor or a cushion this is perfect too. On top of that I do have a sit/standing desk as well and standing on it or stepping from one foot to the other and doing some balancing is amazing. I highly recommend this pad.

I'm currently receiving physical therapy for runner's knee and because I use a balance pad during PT sessions to stretch my quads, I decided to look for a balance pad to use at home.
