Taste
I have purchased this item in the past and it was delicious. This one tastes horrible. Needed it for myself and my dog and neither could stand the taste. The candies were ok but the jar of honey tasted rancid chemical taste.

Do not buy this !
This doesn't have MGO . I can't return this. PLEASE educate yourself before buying honey! Mānuka honey is a unique and highly prized type of honey that is created by bees that forage the flowers of the Mānuka tree, which is native to New Zealand. Mānuka honey contains high concentrations of a natural organic compound called called Methylglyoxal (MGO) which contributes to its amazing health and wellness properties.

Not good
Honey is good but jar wasn't full and definitely not 12 tablespoons in the jar. More like 6 tablespoons. The lable says 12tablespoons which in itself is wrong because there are 16 tablespoons in 8 ounces. I am extremely disappointed. $35 is alot of money to waste.

Is this really Manuka honey?
On my veterinarian's recommendation, I started purchasing Manuka honey. I ordered a different brand than this one on Amazon 5 times and he always ate it; even when he wouldn't eat his regular dog food. He has a collapsing trachea and the Manuka honey helps to soothe his throat after he coughs. It is also supposed to provide some other healthy attributes. After paying $63 for the other brand 5 times, I tried this brand. My dog will not eat it. He smells it and walks away. I tasted the Wedderspoon brand and it tasted like honey you might buy in a grocery store. The other brand (which my dog liked) tasted oddly wild and weedy. I did not like the taste, but my dog did and that's the important thing for me. The Wedderspoon honey does not list a value for UMF or MGO, which the other brand did. Maybe that is part of the difference. I can't get my money back or return the Wedderspoon honey because it's food and I understand that, but I'm out $38 and I guess I'll just use it on some toast.

Not pure manuka honey, could even have corn syrup added
Pretty dissapointed. Initial observations 1. Plastic packaging. For a premium product, I expect amber bottles. 2. Does not have the "medicinal" flavor of other manuka honey I have purchased. 3. Burns the throat - THIS IS VERY SUSPECT. So - many commercially available honeys are mixed with sugar or corn syrup. Between where its shipped from, to the distributor - quality control is difficult to verify - sugar is often added to the process somewhere along the line. Google "is sugar added to honey" there's a bit of research on this. When I get wildflower or buckwheat honey locally I do not get a burning sensation - but most commercial, non-organic honey has this effect. I also have this experience from refined sugar but not from maple syrup, brown rice syrup etc. Trader Joe's used to have a manuka honey with a valid umf rating and YOU COULD TASTE IT. It literally has a medicinal aftertaste to it - like there was a touch of tea tree or something strong like that. 4. Does not impart a strong smell - also something I've noticed from pure manuka honey. Its not strong, but it is slightly fragrant I picked this brand because it was popular, well rated and highly recommended but a critical analysis reveals that its not what is advertised.

I Should Have Known Price Seemed Too Good
Their prices are around 20% lower than other brands, and they had a ton of good reviews. So I figured I would try this brand. Immediately after opening the bottle I noticed a faint mildew smell. However it looked okay besides being a lighter color than even 10+ UMF that I have had. Then after trying it the taste also has a mildew smell. Very similar to the smell of wet clothes left in a washer for over 24 hours. This was a waste of money. I definitely will not buy this brand again.

It has an aftertaste and it's terrible
Don't waste your money because you can't refund us Amazon has started something new they will refund your money but you have to pay to send the product back which may total half of the money you spent on something that does not work which means any piece of "retail trash" can open a business and sell you a product that is a total lie and Amazon will ship it to you don't waste your money or time on products that don't work YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Amazon will be sending out samples before I buy another product I'm not familiar with from them. P. S. They force you to pick a rating if I could rate this product it wouldn't have any stars.
