Women's 1950S Retro Cap Sleeve V Neck Cocktail Party Dresses

I didn't think I would be getting much with such a cute looking dress online for less than $30...but omg I am in love with this dress!!! I love the color so much (got "Pattern 4" which is a light vintage looking blue with flowers) and here's the best thing...IT HAS POCKETS. That was the icing on the cake! The dress has a little bit of stretch too, which is nice. The seams were done well, I didn't see any loose hanging threads. The pleats on the bust part of the dress weren't perfect and I needed to iron the dress to get it presentable for the wedding we were going to, but those are such minor things that I'm sticking with five starts for this one. I wore a petticoat underneath and some vintage looking heels to match and I got so many compliments...super happy with this purchase! I usually wear a size 8-10 and the x-large worked out well (slightly loose, but I prefer that).

This is a nice dress, but unfortunately the bodice is way too high--the bodice ends several inches above my natural waist line. Definitely best for those with a short torso. Also: The pockets are right at the top of the skirt, which adds weight to hips. No-go all around for me, which is a bummer, because this actually fit my 36DD chest and broad shoulders! Back it goes. There's another style (with longer sleeves) by this designer with a longer waist line, but that one ran small. Here's hoping the get the larger size back.

This dress fit perfect! I put a petticoat underneath as it does need some help flaring out but after that it was one of the best fitting dresses I've worn! Really showcased a thinner waist than usual! The pockets are also a plus! I put my iphone plus in them and still had room! The length is very modest at a mid-calf length. Everyone in the family LOVED it even the harder to please picky aunts! Material is what you expect for 20$ but no complaints! Also did not wear the belt as I have never been a fan of belts with dresses.For reference 5'4" female with 125-130lb (it varies as weight does lol)

I loooove this dress. I ordered an XL, it’s a little loose in the chest area but I anticipated as much. I’m pear shaped so things being a little bigger on me up top is fairly standard and not the dress makers fault. I could have it altered but it’s not that big of a deal.I get so many compliments on this every time I wear it. It’s really a well made dress in such a cute pattern. As long as you measure yourself and select the correct size, you’re bound to enjoy owning this dress. Looks cute with flats or heels. And it has pockets!!!!

I love this dress! I still have to iron it, but it will be perfect for the 40s/50s party I'm attending. It's slightly stretchy and has pockets. The fit was exactly what I wanted. For reference this is a medium and I'm 5'6.5", 135 lbs.

I am a very petite person: 5 ft, ~95 lbs, A cup. I ordered the smallest size and it was WAY too big. The sleeves were falling off my shoulders and was loose pretty much everywhere. The fabric itself is very thin, a little rough, wrinkled easily, and was not very moveable. If you're looking for a 'swooshy' dress to dance in, this is not the right dress. I had to return it immediately.

I love this dress, my only issue is that some of the seems are already coming undone. I just need to reinforce it a little but I would hope it would last a little longer. I have only worn it maybe 3 times. I would buy it again though!

Dress fits me good , got a lot of compliments . Washed in cold water , gentle cycle , rince only with no detergent and the dress was ruined ! I purchased black with white polka dots , polka dots turn grey , black color was faded . Awful quality !
