I originally purchased the same Tramontina knives at Sam's about 2 decades ago! Still have most and love them. But, after so many years, they are getting tired looking and I needed more knives. When I saw that they were still being made, I promptly ordered from Amazon. These knives are amazing! They cut the thinnest slices of tomatoes without shredding them. Of course, they are great with all vegetables, fruits, beef and chicken as well! They are very sharp and I will probably have the new set for many, many years to come. I strongly recommend them .
