Great Replacement Rails for Garage Door.
My garage door malfunctioned about 2 months ago. The springs went out and it ended up twisting the steel rails on both sides. I had the springs replaced and the garage door repaired. They did not carry the rails when they repaired the door. I decided to buy these because it says up to 8' and my rails needed to be 7.5'. I bought the extra screws and installed it myself in about 30 minutes. The longest part of the process was having to cut to height down by 6" which I did with a compact Sawzall and a metal cutting blade. It worked perfectly and screwed into place. Now my garage door problems of opening and closing has been taken care of. Thank you.

Very solid replacement vertical track
Very solid replacement for the original vertical track. Feels more solid than original and installed with no issues. If I ever need to buy more vertical track, this will be my first place to look. Not the fault of the track or vendor but I would suggest ordering the short mounting bolts and nuts at the same time because I had to cut some off. Metal was a bit light weight
Metal was light weight did not hold door and was unable to use and after attempting to use it and it distorted was unable to return

Modified a bit but worked great
Both mine got destroyed when my spring broke when the garage came down. I had to take off about an 1/8" off to have it fit but the holes lined up perfect.

channels from American Garage Door and they fit just fine. Had the whole job completed within 30 minutes
After a slip of the lifting cables, the garage door warped the existing channels of the old door. I ordered the 8 ft., 88 inch, channels from American Garage Door and they fit just fine. Had the whole job completed within 30 minutes. Screw holes were perfectly aligned. This is probably the easiest home improvement project I have tackled in a long time. Took only a screwdriver and 7/16 inch wrench and 30 minutes, and I was back in business.

it is for 7 ft high door a we had to cut to ft the 7 ft opening, it is long enough to fit 8 ft hight opening door. Excellent product, thanks to amazon
