Nice Design

great scale
very precise, comes with lit up display and is super easy to clean... most of all: finally a scale that doesn't turn off if you just turn around to grab an ingredient.the tare function works great and on/off happens without the typical "multi-second hold" not sure if this is negative, but this scale is very sensitive. you can literally blow on it and it will nervously scramble the numbers around which could be irritating to some---doesn't bother me.

Needs redesign
Have an older Soehnle scale that still is working. Bought this newer model as a gift. The ultra tiny switch to change display from kilos to pounds is inconveniently hidden UNDER the battery cover. So if you live in the US and use both measures (kilos for baking or ounces for mailing) you will find this design flaw quite annoying. Return window closed yesterday, so I’m stuck with an item that is useless to me.

You can just tell these scales are well made. They're accurate, easy to use and I got them here for so much less than I'd have paid in a store. Really happy with my purchase, I expect I'll be using these for years to come!
