The fur is completely around the shoe so it keeps your foot nice and warm. The leather is a little soft so it gets the distressed look very quick, so keep that in mind in case you don't like that look. Even with the fur this fits like a typical Doc Martin and in the week I've had them I've worn them three times.

Finally, I have bought this style one more time after realizing these Doc Martens are the most sensible being sold right now. I tried the 1460 in 2 super bright candied colors in the nice soft comfy Pascal leather but sent them back for the obvious reason that those colors are just not practical. I am so sorry if I have annoyed Amazon with indecisiveness affecting my purchasing. I have decided to not buy any more clothing or shoes from Amazon because the return process from a rural area is just too difficult.

Love these but if you don't want boots that mark with lines etc then they would be a no as the leather is very soft so marks. They are also a snug fit but not blister tight as normal docs

Very comfy and warm! The size is perfect, I typically order wide boots but these are very comfortable even with thick socks. Very cute and stylish. I recommend using a water resistant spray to protect the leather from rain

A must for winter. Fully fake fur lined make these boots cosy and comfortable. These are comfortable from the 1st wear, no blisters or pain. No need to break them in. They are slightly stiff on the leg from the ankle up but not uncomfortably so. I used Dr Marten Wonder Balsalm on the boots to help soften the leather. My boots were not tight over the top of my feet, as mentioned in another review. I found these boots to be slightly heavier than I expected. SIZING True to size despite being lined with fake fur. I went up a half size as I was unsure of the size and bought UK6.5 instead of UK6 and they are a little big. I lifted the removable lined insole and put another additional insole underneath it. I am still able to wear thick socks comfortably making them even more cosy. Photos taken of boots after a few wears and applications of Dr Martens Wonder Balsalm. This Seller delivered much quicker than stated when purchasing. My 1st pair of Dr Martens & wont be the last. Well worth the price.
