Not without an amplifier or mixer/amplifier combo... this is a passive, or non-powered model. You are probably looking for an active monitor. Try the Eon series. Great option :)

Q: Would a Behringer pmp4000 powered mixer work with these speakers. these would be for a small church with intentions of future growth. Thank you,

I had a Europower EP4000 amp and it didn't have enough power for my sing subwoofer so, I traded up for CV-2800 and that maxes out my ts-42 however, after a quik look online for the pmp4000, it seems to have enough poer to get you around 120dBs.

No. This is a passive speaker cabinet. You will need an amp and probably a pre-amp as well.
