I got this to use during recovery of a forearm injury. A little goes a long ways and the bottle is lasting a long time for small targeted areas like that. The directions say to use it after a work-out but I have found it to be helpful whenever throughout the day and use it like one would with theraworkx or biofreeze, not directly before or after a shower or bath. It isn't sticky. However, it can leave an oily residue on your hands. It's the consistency of water so it is a bit difficult to just spray on and massage on. My work around that is to spray it on my hand and massage it onto the area it needs to be applied immediately and it does absorb within a few minutes. Smells like epson salts and seems to work well on knotted muscles. I just wish the spray nozzle was easier to manage and the clear over-cap didn't fall off as easily (it only serves to keep dust off the spray nozzle).

I jump out of bed in the middle of the night with cramps up and down my legs and spray this all over my legs. Within moments, they are a lot better. The spray is an oil so if you do this often, you might want to put a towel nearby so that you can place your legs on it before you spray all over you. The oil will fall on the floor and make it slippery or soil your carpet. I keep a large towel on the floor by my bed then I just step out onto the towel and spray my legs quickly and rub them down so that the oil penetrates my skin. After the oil has done its job I take the towel and wipe my legs down really well and get back into bed. I have to say there are a few times when it doesn’t do as much as I want it to. But other times it works perfectly. I guess it depends on something I don’t understand. I keep my bed just in case. The cramps usually tend to happen more after I’ve had something alcoholic to drink before bedtime. So when I don’t drink at all, the cramps aren’t as often.

What I like: 1) you get a decent amount for the price 2) it works with my RLS and leg cramps at night 3) helps me not have to get up 5 times to pee in the middle of the night. What I Don’t Like: 1) it kind of burns and stings a bit after putting in on. 2) when it’s fully absorbed it leaves an unpleasant residue and your skin sticks likes crazy to any clothing it’s in contact with making it difficult to get dressed or sleep. 3) despite it being an oil it seems to dry out my skin I’m giving it a 3 star because it works but clearly has flaws that to some people would be deal breakers. After this bottle is used I will try different brands to see if I can find one better. I debated giving this 2 stars but ultimately went with 3.

If you have muscle related discomfort or pain be it from injury, age, exercise... this can help. I rub it on my back before crawling into bed and without fail my muscles are less tight and achy the next morning. My friend uses it on her feet to help her sleep. It's good stuff

It takes a bit longer for me to fall asleep when I use it but I don't wake up in the middle of the night so thats a plus.

I am on dialysis and sometimes have awful cramps which are usually in my feet or hands. I rub some of this oil into the area when I get a cramp and it goes within a few mins and doesn't come back. Until I tried this, I really suffered. Im so glad I found something that stops cramps in its tracks. Its so good. Give it a try and dont suffer like I did.

Seit Wochen unruhige Nächte durch leichte Schmerzen in den Beinen gehabt, was auch öfters in einen kurzfristigen Krampf übergehen konnte, wenn man im Bett die Beine angespannt streckte. Beim Sport ebenfalls bei stärkerer Belastung zu Verkrampfung geneigt, musste ich schon aufpassen, was ich für Bewegungen machte und habe dann die Beine beim Physio behandeln lassen, was kurzzeitig half, solange man hin ging und nicht zu sehr belastet hat. Der Physio wies auch auf eventuellen Magnesiummangel hin, was ich aber wegen Einnahme von Tabletten zunächst ausschloss. Ein Trainer empfahl mir dann, es mit Magnesiumspray zu versuchen, da es dann direkt auf die betroffenen Stellen aufgetragen würde. Jetzt habe ich mir das endlich gekauft und direkt ausprobiert, noch in der gleichen Nacht hatte ich endlich mal wieder ruhigen Schlaf und habe seitdem keine Probleme mehr, auch nicht beim Sport. Prima ist auch, dass man sich keine Sorgen um die Kleidung etc. machen muss, da es keine Rückstände hat. Hätte ich es nur früher ausprobiert.

Ich benutze das Spray regelmäßig nach dem Sport oder vor dem Schlafengehen. Es zieht schnell ein und hinterlässt kein klebriges Gefühl. Anfangs kann es leicht auf der Haut brennen, das ist aber normal bei Magnesiumöl. Seit der Anwendung habe ich deutlich weniger Muskelkrämpfe. Absolute Empfehlung für Sportler oder bei Magnesiummangel.
