I was very disappointed with the kit at first, but it turned out okay. I had to learn some basic PBN tricks like thinning the paint throughout the process. Here are different observations:1. The canvas came folded: I had to iron it and never got it as flat as I would've liked, but it didn't matter in the end.2. The piece of paper with the numbers on it was not much better than the canvas. I have perfect close vision, but still needed a 10X eye loupe to see the some of the numbers.3. The little color print they supply is absolutely useless. I printed a color photo from Amazon, that helped.4. There was plenty of paint. I learned that if you didn't thin it, the paint didn't cover well and white spots were left.5. Lastly, I don't know if all Paint By Numbers are like this, but I was unhappy with some of the details that should have been clear. For instance, the FALL RIVER on the side of the coal car was unreadable. I took the liberty of adjusting it. And the windows were all squiggly and I straightened them out.I spent about 25 hours on this from March to August. I really enjoyed it. But it was difficult for a first one...
