Q: Could these be mounted directly onto trees?

Depends on the tree...you may need to mount a piece of wood to act as a plate. We live in Costa Rica & generally when hanging hammocks from trees we use ropes. Hope that helps.

Q: Can these be installed on a hollow metal post?

I don't think so. You may install it on a stud (wood). I installed mine on a concrete wall.

Q: Can this be used in concrete?

Yesssss! Just use the bolts set for concrete...I hung a hammock 5 months ago with these set on my concrete balcony wall for a 5 f 10 in and 180 lbs male ...so far so good ! No wear no tear .. there are holding firm and tight!!

Q: Does it compatible with any Vivere hammock stand?

I doubt it these are designed to work on wall mount or strong tree to hang the hammock. I presume the stand comes with its own mounting system.
