How something so simple ...
...could be so screwed up. This is another fine example of Chinese quality and getting what you pay for. This is probably one of the simplest tools made. So you'd think, what could go wrong? The drilled threaded and blank holes on the arms are not drilled and threaded perpendicular to each arm; far from it. It's as if the holes were drilled by hand using a hand drill ...they are that far askew. So you will find the two retaining bolts will have a tendency to jam up depending on the size of the bearing you're trying to pull. To make mine work, I had to ream the blank holes larger to get this thing to even clamp the bearings properly. The bright side? The long thin bolts are designed to hold the tool snugly onto the bearing to be pulled. What controls the size range of the bearings this puller will accept are those two retaining bolts. Notice only a small portion of each bolt is threaded; this is what limits the capacity of the puller. Simple fix: go to your local hardware store, buy some fully threaded metric bolts and you will improve the size range of bearings you can pull.Once I "re-engineered" this simple tool, it actually worked like it was supposed to.

Much smaller than advertised.
The english measurements in the description are misleading. 90mm is definitely NOT 6", and this thing is much closer to its 90mm description. Probably useful for toys or small motors, completely ineffective for anything automotive.
