You do not set the time on these. Instead you set the time you want it to start in hours and minutes from right now on the first day and how long you want it to run, turn it to on and its all set. It will continue to turn your item on and off at the right time all while never displaying the actual time of day. if you unplug it or lose power, it retains the settings. Like the title says, its so simple its almost confusing.

Or, is this the minimum amount of effort that could be put into manufacturing a product we could call a timer. ONLY TWO BUTTONS!!! This a good thing? There's no Start and End there is just Delay Start from whatever time it is now. So tomorrow someone else looks at the timer and wonders, when the heck does this thing start?I had trouble getting it to hold a charge long enough to get outside, where it was cold, and plug it in.Five stars for cheap! It really is!

Easy to set up worked perfectly

The instructions to set up are worded a little weird but was able to set up quickly. The timer was reliable in starting and stopping electricity. Only thing I noticed on timer is that if you turn the timer off, the power will run through it like the cords are plugged directly into the power source. I use to turn heating source in my flower cold boxes off and on in the winter.

Too complicated to set up and I couldn’t make it work as a timer.

Don’t waste your money on these worthless timers they do not work I bought two of them and neither one of them works
