Easy to use
I am not very good at using a soldering iron but this one was very easy to use. I accomplished what I needed it for.

Great soldering station and good value.
Item: Velleman VTSS4NU Adjustable Soldering Station, 1 Grade to 12 Grade, 48W, 302 DegreeF-842. This is a great soldering station for beginners or experienced users. Anywhere around $30 is a fair price. The temperature is fairly accurate and replacement tips are available. I used this for soldering circuits on auto circuit boards and school projects. I would give it 5 stars, but after prolong use of 4 hours a day, the handle would get hot and the tip would constantly come loose. Finally the handle cracked and the heating element came apart. I still recommend this product and brand and would buy it again because of the features and price. I'm investing in the Vellman VTSSC40NU. Hope this helps.

Not as advertised
The variable heat levels on this don't actually work the thing started making a loud squealing sound from Electronics inside the moment that I plugged it in and it doesn't properly apply solder

Good starter soldering station.
I have had one for a few years. Still working. I wanted something better than a pencil iron.

Worked once then died
Literally only used it once and now it’s not soldering….
