This particular purchase was for my husband who has poor circulation but can't stand the heavy elastic stockings. He has worn these for many years and except for the heels wearing out before the rest of the sock even looks worn, they are excellent. I do wish Jobst would double up the material on the heels. Other than that, he wears these and I wear the same style in black nearly every single day for 14 hrs and they hold up beautifully and are very comfortable. As for sizing, do buy the suggested size. I tried going larger but they slide down in the shoes and bunch up at the toes.

I have worn these for 15 yrs for vein issues as I walk on concrete 10 hrs a day, they are comfortable and much cheaper from Amazon than the medical supply stores. I also wear them for flying and long drives. They are much more friendly than the too tight nylon ones.
