Sounds great, solid wood.
Tone is great, deep, rich, clean sound. The setup out of the box is very playable. I found thst pulling out the electric pickup under the saddle was a quick way to lower the action to almost perfect. Overall this is better in every way to my old Epiphone that's a solid top with laminated sides/bottom. All solids makes a difference. If you're serious about sound and playability, this is the best bang for the buck.

I haven’t played this beautiful guitar yet but I have had a good look around it. This is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. The wood is top quality the craftsmanship is amazing and the action looks good very good, but there isn’t much room at the saddle for movement. However there are ways around this. Value for money absolutely. This guitar can be tweaked to make it sound better, but as it sits I love it. You may wonder how I know how it sounds if I haven’t played it yet? Well I have listened to ma ny reviews most tell me it’s not a good sound but let’s not forget who now owns Epiphone they can’t have a guitar at a fraction of the cost coming from Indonesia sounding as good as they’re own. As I said, with a few tweaks it can be made to sound ausom . J
