My mum had received one of these for a Christmas gift. I was also offered one but declined because I didn’t think I would use it. How wrong I was! After trying it once I was on Amazon straight away. The heated blanket is like slipping into a warm bath. I am a naturally cold person and most nights I cannot wait to get under my blanket in front of the telly. It’s such a joy.The heat settings are good with a range from 1 to 6. 6 is too hot, 3 or a 4 being optimum. Obviously the parts of the blanket with the heating element get the hottest, but it seems fairly well distributed and so hot spots can be avoided in the main. There is a timer function with auto shut off so you can choose between an hour, 3 hours or 9 hours.The feel of the blanket is a lightweight and soft fleece. It can be washed in the machine if you unplug the control and is not too bulky to put through a washing machine at home. I believe that there is a more expensive blanket with a ribbed design which is a little more bulky but I am happy with this one.As soon as I get this out the dog jumps up on the sofa in readiness. He knows what’s good.I believe that this doesn’t consume much energy and so can be a God send in homes without much heating, or for the elderly or ill who feel the cold.I’ve had it a good long while now with no issues. It seems safe although I always unplug when done.Recommend to all.

I am very pleased with this product, it is warm and comfrtable even when switched off. When swiched on it heats up very quickly and the contols are clear and easy to use. I hven' yet tried to wash it, but have no reason to think there would be any problems.I chose the aqua/teal colour, which is very pretty, and the fabric is soft and gentle on the touch.I'm very happy to recommend!

Good quality at a reasonable price

It’s nice and warm but I’m not sure I would call it luxury. It’s nice enough. I’m hoping the high price is because it’s going to carry on working for a long time.

Our warming Dreamland blanket is simply superb, and has the potential of reducing heating bills. The living room temperature does not have to be so high for, say, watching TV, or for enjoying a siesta!It is so easy to set the duration and temperature of the warmth, and then settle into pure comfort.

ProsI cannot say how pleased I am with this Dreamland heated blanket, wish I bought one years ago.Heats up really quickly and is super warm.I put it on number 6 if it’s really cold to get it heated up initially and turn down to number 2 to maintain a nice temperature. That suits me, but there are other options as temperatures go from 1 to 6.The blanket is so thick and soft, is warm even without the heat on. Also great it can be machine washed.I use it on my armchair and now my husband wants one too.It is really easy to use and has 1,3 and 9 hour timer settings.Would recommend this product, saves putting the heating on so a plus all round.No cons I can think of.
