Amazing once you get the hang of it!
The instructions aren't the best. But basically put the locking bar in the position specified & set the code. Put it in place (shed) still on your code. Hold it in the locking position, now shuffle the numbers. Its now locked. Done!

Good lock, bad instructions
Like other reviewers, I had problems re-setting the combination. After much frustration, I found that there was not in fact an issue with the lock, only with the scanty instruction diagrams that came with it. To reset the lock, the shackle has to be rotated through 180 degrees and then pushed home into the body of the lock so that it clicks into place. Only then can the combination wheels be turned, when it is fairly easy.The lock itself looks to be good quality and less vulnerable to the weather than most but only time will tell. So it's 5 stars for the lock and 1 star for the instruction diagrams.

Outside lock
So far it has been perfect. This has been on an outside gate, used frequently by people for the last month and a half through bad weather, and there hasn't been any problems.I'm very pleased!
