I am going to start by saying FedEx gets 0 out of 5 stars for this delivery (this alone, they are usually okay,) as the box was tattered and open at both ends, ripped and looked aweful, the box was partially reassembled with tape in the middle but open on both ends fully, the poor guy at the end of its delivery route tried to run before I saw it, lol.. but I am pretty sure he received it that way and tried to repair the box. We were lucky though and somehow all this occurred we did not lose any parts or have any damage to the bed itself! Lucky... and possibly a testimony to its durability. That being said, this bed is really thick and sturdy, extremely good quality for the cheap, low-end price. I was not expecting it to be so sturdy. As, others have said besides it's sturdiness it just does not squeak, and you kind of expect a metal on metal bed to squeak, but it does not, so for you with sensitive ears or adventurous bedroom habits, this is a good bed frame. The one complaint I have is that two of the under middle bars, have a double bolt pattern, where the alignment was a bit off and the second bolt would not easily go in, that however did not effect our ability to put it together and did not seem to affect the sturdiness, I just used one bolt on the two pieces instead of two, alternating sides, and it was just fine. Honestly, It might have just been a fluke, (or it might have been my fault somehow, though I did try alternating the directions of the bars to see if there was confusion. But directions were pretty clear and changing directions yielded same result.) This bed is absolutely worth the money and my wife is just in love with the canopy. I like that it is a lot thicker than its cheap price would suggest. I would recommend purchasing this bed, unless you are afraid of a bit of deviation in a hole pattern, or fear that the box will be damaged by fedex, then by all means pay hundreds more for that small peace of mind. For the rest of us, get this bed if you want a sturdy, well made, inexpensive canopy bed.

The media could not be loaded.  Love everything about this bed frame. It is pretty sturdy, it adds so much to your bedroom, it doesn't squeak or make noise when you toss and turn at night. It does shake a little bit but it's not not sturdy. Don't listen to any negative reviews because I'm glad I didn't! It was super easy to put together also. BUY IT NOW!

1 star for being easy to put together and 1 star for it being aesthetically appealing. I don’t really know what to say. I’m thinking about retiring it and spending a little more on a better quality frame. I’m disappointed because the reviews were good. But it’s snapped in the middle, the slats don’t stay in place, and it dips in the middle. Just super cheap.

The bed is perfect for the price. It’s not super hard to set up and can get done pretty quickly with two people. Downside is the support for the frame is rods that don’t truly lock into place. They fall into slots and that holds the mattress up. If one of us kneels heavily on the bed or jumps into bed you will hear the rod pop out of place and it will create a gap which cause mattress to sink. We just end up refitting the slot until it happens again. For the money it’s great and looks modern, I just don’t see it lasting very long.

I do not dislike anything it is fantastic very classic, it’s a statement piece every time I walk inside my bedroom I feel like I am entering a hotel room. I can also say it is very sturdy it has withstands all of our extra activities 😏. Best value for our money

This bed is absolutely beautiful , it surpassed my expectations for sure. I did see a few reviews that made me skeptical BUT I decided to go with it. SO GLAD I DID! This is easily my favorite bed I’ve owned. I have a 12” mattress , no box spring needed. The bed doesn’t squeak at all just tighten the screws all the way . I’m a woman that doesn’t build much, was able to put this together myself in about an hour 30. This is a KING it fits so well in my apartment. Beyond satisfied with my purchase !

I read the reviews before purchasing. I have two things to say: anyone who brings up squeaking or broken cross-members has CLEARLY done something wrong during the assembly process! This thing is absolutely rock-solid.I started each screw by hand to catch a thread, set up “opposing ends” of members with screws to ensure things were aligned and not stressed during final torque, and drove ‘em home with a drill/driver. The result is a frame built like a tank. I tried pretty hard to get a squeak out of it, and i can’t.Assembly looked intimidating when i unboxed the unit, but was really quite easy. 6 minutes to read the instructions and sort the well-badged parts, 30 minutes to assemble. The driver helped immensely… can’t imagine doing this manually with the supplied allen-wrench. You’ll be in for two hours of twisting if you don’t have a power tool. Oh, and “think” before you “do.” A couple pieces need to be oriented correctly so that the threaded holes align for subsequent bolt-ups… Not a big deal, but i did accidentally get one reversed on account of inattention.I can’t speak to the need for a box frame under the mattress… i always put 1/8”AC plywood under memory foam on these types of frames, and it works great for load distribution / mattress support.It’s a nice elevation… Not too tall, but still high enough to feel substantial. The canopy-top cross members are decidedly not “load-bearing.” Fit for curtains, but if someone needs to “tie-off” to them, well… They won’t cut it.The frame itself, however? Yeah… it’ll handle it.

I love this bed and how nice it looks when set up, but unfortunately one of the front pieces came bent and banged up, so now that’s the first thing you see when you look at the bed.. on top of that there was a lot of rust on the metal pieces before I even unwrapped them.

Did not like product. Was not king size as specified in the title of the product. Did not like quality of product.
