PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Models (29 Gaoyuan The Microraptor)

My son loves dinosaurs and this one was next on his wishlist. This is honestly my fav Dino I bought for him cuz it’s got some iridescent shine to it and looks so real. It does split into two pieces for some reason but my son thinks that cool. Overall a great product.

I had heard such great things about this company. What a disappointment! The parts don't fit together even with a lot of pressure, but maybe I can trim and glue them. There are mold marks everywhere. The paint job is on a par with a dinosaur model from Michael's that would cost half of what this one did, and the wingspan is slightly smaller than the length of my hand. Don't waste your money on this one. It's not even a high quality kids' toy.

Only problem was 2 parts not attaching seamlessly.

This model is great in its shape, especially when it is set on the plastic stand rather than rocking back on its tail. The details of the feathering are quite good. I deducted one star for a couple of reasons. First, for some reason this is in two pieces which need to be pushed together. The pieces do not fit closely enough together to hide the join, which is obvious in the image I have included. Second, the iridescence is pretty overwhelming. There is clear evidence that microraptor did, indeed, have iridescent feathers, but the paint on this model is almost gaudy - not great camouflage for a predator.

Lo compre para mi hijo de tres años y está absolutamente feliz! Los colores y detalles de de las plumas son espectaculares. Valió la pena la compra. No es económico, pero tampoco es exagerado el precio si se tiene en cuenta la calidad del producto. Muy recomendado!!!
