Old Spice Original Gel De Ducha 400Ml

Good lather. Great smell.

I bought this for my husband because he asked me to, but the truth is I absolutely adore the scent so I wanted to get it for him anyways. There is nothing better than the Original Old Spice. I got him everything I could find I the Original Old Spice scent but they need to make a shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and moisturizing body lotion in the Original Old Spice scent too. A lot of men who like Original Old Spice also like bar soap. I think it used to come as soap on a rope. They need to bring that back.

I always liked the scent of Old Spice (yes, my grandfather wore it). Actually, I would like the scent to be a bit stronger in this gel, but that might be a little much for others. I used to be able to find this product on grocery shelves, but no longer, so I'm glad to be able to order it off Amazon. There are other Old Spice products available in stores, but I haven't found a scent I like.

Don’t know what Old Spice is doing to its brand other than trying to Axe its way to some imaginary younger consumer. But it must be working because they keep on coming with a dizzying array of variations. It’s unnecessarily difficult to find the Original scent (which is different than “classic” as I found out the hard way). This is an okay shower gel that lathers well, but no moisturizing benefit that I could detect. The photo in the listing makes it look like a keg, but it’s the standard size. Bottle design isn’t the easiest to keep hold of with wet, soapy hands. Priced rather high, too, but given the challenges of finding a scent that was once available everywhere, I’ll probably buy it again.

The scent is good.As background ... I'm a fan of Old Spice Classic. That was the long-time standard scent of Old Spice. In recent years it's largely been discontinued. What a shame. However ....... this scent is the same as Classic, only less strong. Think of it as watered-down Classic. That's okay. A man shouldn't be strongly-scented anyway. Faced with the alternative of no Classic at all, I'll gladly keep buying and using this version.

I’ve used Old Spice since I was a kid and have never tired of the sent, and I’m allergic to so many soaps and deodorants, but I can always count on Old Spice.

Not exactly like original but still smells good. A little pricey for the size bottle you get.
