Woeks a treat, I was able to read and write flash without any issues. You do have to download the appropriate software.

Bargain. I read the eorom and decrypted my radio codes of 2 of my cars as I lost the security pins. Flimsy clip though it took few latches to clip on. Anyways it's definitely worth the money.

This is the worst product I've ever had the misfortune of using. Absolutely terrible clip and sends 5 volts directly into your bios chip. This is absolutely appalling, it should not be used under any circumstances due to the fact it cannot produce a single decent write with similar hash, all return bogus Data. Please do not use it. It's cheap garbage, please buy something else it's a waste of money and a waste of time. Amazon will be returning this as it's garbage I will never ever buy another of these

Wires kept coming off when attempting to connect to bios chip. In the middle of resoldering them back

I was very skeptical about this but after an HP BIOS update gave me a totally black screen on start up, no access to bios, or windows I ordered a new PC. However, I came across this device from Internet & checked out reviews on YouTube & thought I would give it ago as PC would end up in the bin so what have I got to lose apart from a few quid. I had to download NEO PROGRAMMER from web & followed instructions from YOUTUBE. Disconnected everything I could, fans, power leads, RAM, CMOS chip. The clip is the big issue, knowing when it's connected properly is difficult so it's a bit trial and error but eventually I got the clip in the correct position and was able to use the software and load on an updated BIOS. AND IT WORKED! PC now up and running. You need to be patient. Need also to get BIOS CHIP details which I got from the writing on the chip itself.

Bought to flash the Thunderbolt chip on a Lenovo T480 after it died. Worked perfectly to flash firmware and my laptop charges again :D Ease of use: Simply plug and play with any machine, worked on both MacOS and Linux for me, can’t comment on windows.

Well built and easy to use once I managed to find the software to go with it but no instructions supplied., and the software instructions and program were all in Chinese had to get it translated into English.

Saved my bricked GPU quickly and cheaply. Money well spent. Had I purchased it sooner, I could have saved other gadgets as well.

Jak wszystkie programatory które tak wyglądają wymaga przerobienia zasilania układu CH341A na 3.3 V, żeby nie spalić układu który chcemy programować. Robota na 15 minut, a nie mam wprawy w lutowaniu i dałem radę. Poprawnie odczytał i zapisał kość BIOS w komputerze Lenovo. Dołączony klips testowy ładnie zapiął się na układzie SOIC8.

Ottimo programmatore USB CH341A per chip serie 24XX\25XX (eeprom, flash e BIOS). Ho usato questo piccolo programmatore per riscrivere un bios corrotto di una vecchia scheda madre, tutto è andato liscio e ha funzionato al primo tentativo. Per fare prima ho staccato il chip dal suo zoccoletto della scheda madre e l'ho montato direttamente sul programmatore USB, se invece il chip è saldato si può utilizzare tranquillamente il cavo con pinza per evitare di dissaldarlo. Questo programmatore può essere usato con vari programmi, ma quello che consiglio è senza dubbio NeoProgrammer (attualmente in versione 2.2.0.10), è completo, facile e affidabile per programmare qualsiasi tipo di componente. ATTENZIONE: questa scheda è in grado di programmare soltanto i chip da 3,3V in formato SOP, SSOP e DIP8, se dovete programmare chip da 1,8V serve un adattatore apposito per questa scheda (acquistabile a parte qui su amazon), senza adattatore andrete a danneggiare in modo irreversibile il chip durante la fase di programmazione. Se non siete pratici vi consiglio di consultare prima il datasheet del proprio chip e poi procedere con la programmazione.

Did the job right, but I had to shave off a little bit of plastic because of a surface mount component on one of my boards. Finicky getting it to connect properly.
